Job Responsibilities
- Handle all commercial activities related to garment export orders, including export documentation, shipment coordination, and payment follow-up.
- Prepare, review, and process export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, EXP forms, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and other required documents.
- Monitor shipment schedules, vessel bookings, cargo handover, customs clearance, and timely submission of shipping documents.
- Follow up on export proceeds realization, bank negotiation, payment collection, and settlement of outstanding commercial transactions.
- Verify and coordinate buyer-specific shipping and documentation requirements to avoid discrepancies, delays, and financial risks.
- Maintain accurate records of export shipments, LCs, bank transactions, customs documents, and other commercial activities.
- Coordinate with merchandising, production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure on-time shipment and smooth order execution.
- Monitor document discrepancies, shipment delays, and other commercial issues and take prompt corrective action.
- Prepare shipment status reports, export realization reports, and other commercial statements for management review.
- Maintain effective communication with international buyers and their nominated agents regarding shipment and documentation matters.
- Ensure proper filing, documentation control, and compliance with internal company procedures and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict shipment deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and commercial documentation systems.
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor/ Masters Degree from any reputed University
