Job Responsibilities
American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) requires qualified and competent Assistant Professor for theFaculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS)
- Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Requirements
- Some of the requirements may be relaxed for candidates with greater experience.
- Molecular Biology, including gene expression analysis, genomics, proteomics, recombinant DNA technology, and advanced molecular techniques.
- Bioinformatics, with a strong command of computational biology, genome and protein sequence analysis, structural bioinformatics, algorithm development, machine learning applications in biology, and high throughput data analysis.
- Experience in interdisciplinary research integrating wet lab molecular biology with computational approaches will be considered a significant advantage.
Educational Requirement
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or research experience.
- At least 3 publications in reputed, peer reviewed academic journals.
- First Class/Division in all academic examinations.
- Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional research achievements or extensive experience.
Experience
