They must be financially aware with an ability to set and maintain budget
They must have developed team leading and organizational skills
They must be persuasive communicators and good negotiators
Have knowledge to different transitions like dissolves and pattern swipes, perform keying operations, and also generate color signals. This kind of online video editing is used in videotaped and live television productions.

Producer must have knowledge and interest in areas such as Politics, News & Current Affairs, Documentaries, General Entertainment or Sports. He must have an understanding of programme-making techniques, including story development, picture composition, directing, and editing skills.
