Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of Gas Generators and related equipment.
- Carry out troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing of gas generator systems.
- Coordinate with clients for scheduled service, emergency breakdown support and technical requirements.
- Prepare and submit service reports, inspection reports, and maintenance reports for clients and management.
- Identify technical problems and provide effective solutions within the required time.
- Monitor generator performance and recommend necessary maintenance or replacement of parts.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts Department to arrange required spare parts and ensure timely availability.
- Maintain proper records of service activities, equipment condition, spare parts, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with customers and provide quality after-sales service.
- Must have to travel extensively across Bangladesh for customer visits and service assignments.
Requirements
- Age 20 to 45 years
- Strong technical knowledge of gas engines and generator systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a service team.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Must have to travel and work at customer sites across Bangladesh.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency service requirements.
Educational Requirement
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidates with relevant technical certifications/training in gas engines or generator servicing will have an added advantage.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms, Garments Accessories, Group of Companies
