Job Vacancy: Optometrist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and visual acuity tests.
• Perform objective and subjective refraction.
• Identify refractive errors, including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
• Measure intraocular pressure (IOP) and assist with preliminary eye disease screening.
• Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, including auto-refractometers.
• Identify suspected eye diseases and refer patients to specialist ophthalmologists.
• Assist ophthalmologists with patient assessments, surgical screening and follow-up.
• Participate in free eye camps and community outreach programmes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality patient care

• Age 23 to 40 years
• Only Male

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmic clinic will be an advantage.

• Diploma

• Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
