Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct in-line, mid-line and final inspections at apparel factories and subcontracted units to report that products meet the quality standards, specifications and delivery schedules of the principal company;
- Review technical specifications, pre-production samples, fabrics, trims and accessories, and con firm them before bulk production in coordination with merchandising and production teams;
- Communicate with factory owners, production managers, local suppliers and sourcing agents to improve their quality management systems and strengthen long-term business partnerships;
- Prepare and present monthly quality reports to higher management regarding inspection results, defect trends, production challenges and improvement plans;
- Ensure the best services to new international or local suppliers for apparel, fabrics, accessories, production technologies, product innovation, and overall quality and smooth performance.
Requirements
- Age 50 to 60 years
- At least 30-year(s) prior experience in quality control in the apparel/Ready-made garments sector, including substantial experience as a team leader or manager at an overseas production base;
- Experience working within Japanese trading companies or Japanese business environments;
- Demonstrated coordination skills with factories, suppliers and buyers in the garments/apparel industry;
- Japanese Language Proficiency (N1/N2 Certification required);
- Know the expectations of Japanese Management and also know the culture of Japanese Companies.
Educational Requirement
- Graduated or Degree from any Private / Public Institutions.
