Job Responsibilities
Job ContextSKS Foundation in partnership with IDCOL is going to implement a project titled Domestic Rooftop Solar (DRS) Project. Following positions will be recruited for implementing the project`s interventions:Job Responsibilities
- Ensure proper installation of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, batteries, cables, and protection equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and installation guidelines.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline.
- Troubleshoot technical problems during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients and internal departments.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available at project sites.
- Identify potential customers in residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop customer relationships.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and BOQs.
- Follow up on sales leads, quotations, and ongoing negotiations.
- Support contract finalization and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Develop relationships with corporate clients.
- Manage day-to-day technical operations related to solar projects.
- Provide technical support for solar PV systems, hybrid systems, and off-grid solutions.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose primary faults related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
- Handle customer technical complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Recommend system improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Coordinate between sales, engineering, procurement, installation, and accounts teams.
- Report project progress, sales performance, technical issues, and operational challenges to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Age At most 40 years
- Solar inverter and battery technologies.
- Knowledge on Electrical wiring, protection systems, and earthing.
- Site survey and feasibility assessment.
- MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and solar design software.
- Customer relationship management and negotiation.
Educational Requirement
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Renewable Energy Technology or Relevant Discipline/ B.Sc in Physics
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
