About UsGMC Studies is a UK-registered international student consultancy firm providing professional guidance to students seeking higher education opportunities abroad. We work with study destinations including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Malaysia.Objective: We are seeking a passionate and result-driven Student Counselor to assist Senior Student Conselors and guide students aspiring to study in the UK, Europe & Malaysia. You will play a vital role in promoting our partner universities, evaluating student profiles, and supporting them throughout the application and visa process.Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior counselors with course research, sorting student files, writing SOPs and completing other assigned tasks.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date guidance to students about study opportunities at partner universities and institutions in the UK, Europe, and Malaysia.
- Contact and follow up with students from the database to introduce our services and generate interest in studying abroad.
- Evaluate student profiles, including academic background, English proficiency, financial capacity, and study goals, to determine eligibility and recommend suitable programs.
- Counsel students on available courses, universities, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and study options.
- Facilitate the complete application process, including online application submission, documentation, offer letter processing, and communication with universities.
- Maintain and manage student application portfolios using CRM tools to ensure smooth processing and timely follow-ups.
- Work closely with the Visa & Compliance Team to ensure accurate, ethical, and regulation-compliant visa guidance.
- Monitor application progress and maintain regular communication with students regarding admission and visa updates.
- Achieve and exceed assigned application, enrollment, and conversion targets through effective counseling and follow-up.
- Provide prompt and professional responses to student inquiries while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Represent the organization at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional events to promote international education opportunities.
- Deliver engaging and impactful presentations, both online and offline, to inform students about study opportunities in the UK, Europe, and Malaysia.
- Calling and following up with raw leads.
