Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers, air compressors, and associated auxiliary equipment according to approved SOPs and safety requirements.
- Monitor steam pressure, temperature, feed-water levels, fuel consumption, and other operating parameters.
- Monitor clean-steam generation systems, where assigned, for applications such as sterilization-in-place and autoclaves.
- Operate and monitor air compressors, air dryers, receivers, filters, and related equipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report abnormal operating conditions, alarms, leakage, and breakdowns.
- . Maintain accurate shift logbooks, operating records, equipment readings, and handover documentation.
- Support routine servicing and preventive maintenance within the scope of authorization.
- Follow occupational safety procedures, energy management practices, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and company safety policies.
Requirements
- Age At most 35 years
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of practical experience in boiler or air compressor operation.
Educational Requirement
- SSC/HSC with a relevant technical or trade certificate.
- A valid Boiler Operator Certificate/Boiler Attendant License issued by the authorized government authority is mandatory for boiler-operation duties.
Experience
- 5 to 8 years
