Job Responsibilities
- Prepare operation breakdown for each style before production.
- Design and develop efficient production line layouts.
- Calculate thread consumption for costing and planning.
- Identify critical operations and provide effective solutions to production issues.
- Analyze risk factors for every style and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and maintain skill matrix; ensure proper skill ratio in production lines.
- Attend production meetings and set realistic production targets.
- Conduct capacity planning, motion study, and production study.
- Perform line balancing and operator grading assessment.
- Participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings and resolve style-related difficulties.
- Develop and improve production methods and processes.
Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in any reputed Denim garments industry in IE Department (Cutting/ Sewing/ Finishing).
- Strong ability to communicate with Management & result oriented.
- Strong knowledge of line balancing, SMV calculation, capacity planning, and motion study.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production planning tools.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
Educational Requirement
- B.Sc in Textile Engineering from any reputed university.
Experience
- 2 to 6 years
