Job Responsibilities
Mercantile Bank Training Institute (MBTI) is a full-fledged training and development institution of Mercantile Bank PLC. It is responsible for organizing and conducting training programs as well as assessing the training needs and performances of human capital of the Bank in collaboration with the Bank's HR Division.We invite applications from qualified, experienced and dynamic professionals for the position of Faculty Member to strengthen the professional knowledge, skills and competencies of the Bank's employees.Job Grade: Depending on qualifications & experiences.Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, conduct and evaluate training programs covering general banking, credit, trade finance and Islamic Shariah-based banking operations in compliance with circulars/guidelines of regulatory authorities.
- Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and Strategic training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Prepare training content and materials in line with the annual training plan.
- Coordinate with the Training Committee and HR Division of the Bank, BIBM, Bangladesh Bank and relevant organizations/institutions.
Requirements
- Strong understanding in banking operations, teaching and computer literacy with practical experience in bank operations preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bengali and English.
- Up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and practices with the capacity of assessing trainings in compliance with the central bank's guidelines and circulars.
- Minimum 05 years of working experience in a training institute of a bank/financial institution or banking related educational institution. or
- Minimum 10 years of banking experiences with strong academic profile can also apply.
- Age Requirement: The preferred age range may be 35-55 years, depending on the candidate's qualifications and professional experience.
Educational Requirement
- Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing or any relevant discipline from a reputed university with a strong academic background.
- Professional banking certifications such as CDCS, CSDG CAMS or CERM will be an added advantage.
- Person having Ph.D qualification will be given preference.
Experience
- At least 10 years
