The successful candidate, having strategic and results-oriented professionalism with strong leadership, administrative, and operational management capabilities, is responsible for ensuring efficient delivery of general services across the Bank.Job Grade: Depending on qualifications & experiences.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the General Services Division to ensure smooth, efficient and cost-effective administra-tive and operational support throughout the Bank.
- Manage procurement, vendor selection, contract administration, inventory control and disposal of fixed assets in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable regulations.
- Supervise the management, maintenance, renovation and development of the Bank's branches, head office and other premises.
- Oversee transport and fleet management, logistics, utilities, security coordination and other general support services.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and relevant expenditure reports as well as coordinate with divisions/departments, branches, external service providers, contractors, and regulatory or other relevant authorities as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experiences in banks, financial institutions, corporate organizations or defence, out of which at least 05 years in the leadership role of general services, administration, and logistics or facilities management in a leading commercial bank.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in procurement practices, asset management, facilities maintenance and administrative controls.
Educational Requirement
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university. B.Sc in civil/electrical engineering will be given preference.
- B.Sc in engineering along with an MBA will be considered a best fit for the role.
- Professional qualifications or training in supply chain management or project management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 15 years
